a century of light
Our story begins in Modena in 1905, with a small shop selling gifts and ceramics.
From this humble start, a family with a desire to succeed and a warehouse full of ideas began to bring their light to customers with a travelling stall.
Our growth continued in the 1970s, when Lotti made a name for itself in the wholesale sector. But the turning point came at the end of the 1990s!
In 1997, Lotti Importex Srl was officially established, and with it came the first import of fibre optic trees directly from China. A totally new product.
From that moment on, there was a string of successes: the first award for innovation, participation in the most important international trade fairs, the arrival of LEDs, the launch of the Professional range, and logistical expansion.
Today, at its headquarters in Poggio Rusco (Mantua), Lotti is a well-established company with more than 2,000 items in its catalogue, two operational sites with over 30,000 sqm of warehouses, a 2,200 sqm showroom and customers throughout Europe.

1905 Beginnings
The first light switches on.
A ceramics and gift shop opens in Modena, paving the way for what is now Lotti Importex Srl
Anni ‘70 From the counter to the warehouse
Lotti moves from street trading to wholesale trade.
During these years, the company begins to make a name for itself among retailers and shopkeepers.
1997 Optical innovation
Fibre optic trees arrive for the first time.
This marks the beginning of direct imports from China and a new vision for decorative lighting.
1998 The first award
At the Milan Christmas Trade Fair, Lotti is awarded for innovation.
The industry discovers fibre optics and Lotti lights the way.
2005 LED enters the catalogue
LED string lights are introduced into the Lotti catalogue. Sustainability, lower consumption, longer lifespan and greater variety.
A step forward for the entire sector.
2010 Focus on Europe
Lotti takes part in the Christmasworld trade fair in Frankfurt.
This marks the beginning of international expansion: new contacts, new challenges and new markets to shine in.
2020 Lotti expands!
The second 20,000 sqm warehouse opens. The Brenner showroom has over 1,850 items on display.
